Well, cobbling together an original one shouldn't be too ridiculous. Of course, the UW one does scale better overall.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Your pictures continue to give me agony over not owning a Baldigus/Ruination. Only con I don't have from the show, and it's nigh impossible to get the UW release for not ridiculous prices
They'd have to be done as Leaders to get the size right (and if we weren't getting an upscale, I'd favor a reissue over trying to recreate them), but it'd be nice.Nemesis Destron wrote:I haven't checked lately on the rubber wheels for Prime and UM but they have withstood the time in my fold.
Man just imagine a Legacy release of JRX/Rail Racer? In the wake of MP Raiden the right thing to do is to release a proper modern train combiner...c'mon / wake up!!!
Agreed. I wish we had gotten a Combaticons set the same way.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Very nice Rodimus Prime.
I can't wait to break out my RiD2001 guys once I get my basement done, I have the entire Antagonist cast, and I want to take a picture of them together at last. I still need to get the Autobots from the show outside the combiner teams and W.A.R.S.
As for Ruination, this is a really good figure. I liked Bruticus, but with the Computron extremities, the colors, and the Mo-vor using the shuttle mold, it goes the extra mile. I love this team. (I do have shuttle Blastoff, but I keep the jet mold for Bruticus, and shuttle Blastoff is part of Megascream).

He's got a regular Towline right there so I can see why he wouldn't want to add a second inaccurate one. I don't really see Toxitron as an RID character being any more inaccurate than Hasbro calling him a G2 character, at least he's using a mold based on a mold found in both lines.

Ah I see him now. He's just so small...Emerje wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:So Towline, who was a part of RiD, is a no-no, while Toxitron, who (as far as I recall) has nothing to do with the series, is included? What am I missing?

Toxitron was originally to be a Universe 2003 release. That line can be considered an unofficial sequel to RiD2001 considering the later releases, especially the Armada-style ones, were redecoes of older molds akin to Universe.

Leaving the legs attached also lets the mold sit comfortably atop HasLab Unicron's body.Rodimus Prime wrote:Great find!
I used to have the Megabolt Megatron version, and I wish I had kept him. I don't know about this figure, but that one was an homage to Beast Machines Megatron IIRC. Also, if you removed the legs in Megabolt mode, he fits in the slot on top of G1 Fort Max as his head.
