Yesterday,
DrudgeReport.com posted a link to an article with the heading: "DREAMWORKS plans $650 million animation spin-off ...". The link went to an article on Netscape.com, which was removed shortly after Matt
Drudge posted the link. However, the link still remains on the site. Does this title refer to the upcoming Dreamworks / Spielberg Transformers movie? Could Transformers be the $650 million animation spin-off?
What an exciting time to be a Transformers fan gang - it's only going to get hotter from here.
UPDATE FROM SEIBERTRON:
After talking with a few co-workers, I found out what this link on DrudgeReport.com was supposed to go to ... and now that I think about it, $650 million is an awful lot for a movie. But you know me, I'm always an optimist!
So here's what this "rumor" is really about, and it's not really Transformers related, other than the fact that the new Transformers movie will most likely be a part of
Dreamwork's new "spinoff" Animation studio. You can read more about this spinoff
here.
