The cover story for Toyfare magazine issue #128 will be none other than the new Transformers Animated series.
You can read the original post over at Atomic Hobbies and Games
by clicking here.
TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED BEHIND-THE-SCENES • To paraphrase Doug E. Fresh, the Transformers are back and they're all brand-new! We interview Hasbro and Cartoon Network about bringing these totally redesigned Transformers to television and what challenges they faced in creating toys that captured the stylized look of the show while still transforming into trucks. The new Optimus Prime will appear on the cover of this issue. WOMEN OF ACTION! • We run down our 50 favorite females in fiction, including the characters who have action figures, the ones who look like action figures, and the ones who need action figures! From She-Ra to Ripley to Wonder Woman, it's an estrovaganza! RETRO: M.U.S.C.L.E. • Remember those little pink guys that came in garbage cans? They were intergalactic wrestlers, and they were awesome. We look at their sordid history, their failed comeback bid and the awesome toys we never got in America! A DECADE OF DC DIRECT • The comic toy makers turn 10, and we're celebrating along with them! We'll talk to them about their 10 years in toys, and we run down our 10 favorite DC Direct toys from the last 10 years! Twisted ToyFare Theatre! • Each month is an insane trip inside our toy library, as classic toy lines of yesterday and today come to life…and have to deal with all of the same junk we do. What crazy adventure will the toys of 'TTT' go on next?
Transformers Animated debuts January 5th on Cartoon Network in the United States, and on January 1st on YTV in Canada.

THE GODLIKE POWER OF MASTERFORCE!
The original tales of TRANSFORMERS G1 continue in this second Japanese sequel!
