Overview
On Earth, Bumblebee and his team of Autobots—Sideswipe, Strongarm, Grimlock, and Fixit—battle some of Cybertron's most dangerous Decepticons. In the Realm of the Primes, Optimus is training for an important mission. Little do the two friends know, they are both being tested by Liege Maximo, who will stop at nothing to make sure Optimus and Bumblebee destroy each other. Will they be able to defeat their sinister opponent, or will this be the end of the Autobots?

Fellow Seibertronian and regular Twincaster xRotorstormx has spotted an announcement via the official Takara Transformers account on Twitter, pertaining to the release of the first Arcee figure in their Q-Transformers line. We had seen glimpses of this previously, but it appears that a January episode of the animated series will introduce the character - released at the end of January with what sounds like a massive launch party - and a new Beast Wars geared festival in 2016! The animated series Transformers: Rescue Bots just keeps trucking on, as it received another award nomination. This time round, it's the 2015 Annie Awards, under the category Best Animated Television Production for Pre-School Children, for the episode 'I Have Heard the Robots Singing'! Transformers: Rescue Bots, nearing its fourth season soon, will apparently add a new female character to the cast, and she may very well be of Cybertronian origin! The confirmation comes from series writer and co-creator Nicole DuBuc, via fellow fansite TFW2005 member IceMagnus - no current further details, but you can check out the short Twitter exchange below.
Following the recent release of episodes 1-5 of Transformers: Robots in Disguise on DVD, Shout! Factory are ready for February and the arrival of the next collected bunch of episodes 6-10 in the new animated series. Find out more information here and below!
Synopsis

We received notification of a new gallery appearing on Imgur of a series of animation cells and background art from the 1986 animated movie of The Transformers. After some digging by fellow Seibertronian ScottyP, we have the original source of the labour, Reddit user Kazhero22 who compiled them from Rubberslug and posted them to Imgur! Cartoon Network Youtube Channel has uploaded a couple of new clips from Robots In Disguise. These clips however are not from any season 1 episode so it is likely these are our first look at season 2. The two clips are entitled "Knock, Knock" and "Power of Dibs" and feature Drift, Sideswipe, Fracture and some Mini-Con action which introduces us to Cyclones which are unaligned Mini-Cons. The two new Mini-Cons introduced in the clips are Backtrack and Ransack. We recently seen toy reveals of Backtrack and also Overload. Check out the clips embedded below.
