While many are happy with their Haslab Victory Saber, it hasn't been all peachy for everyone. Fans still have no response from Hasbro regarding replacement parts for the widespread flaw where a peg hole was filled and several European orders were unfufilled by the 3rd party retailers accepting orders. BUT, for those lacking a Victory Saber and wanting one at an ok price, Robot Kingdom ordered some for their own store and it is currently in stock. While the default price is $199.90 USD, this item doesn't ship to the US or Canada, but it should be available to the Europeans who got their order cancelled. And any American wanting in on this price can always use a forwarding service which many Transformers fans routinely use for country exclusives. While the price is not a huge margin over the original price, the fact that Robot Kingdom is Hong Kong based means the shipping will be pricey. Still, it's an option we wanted to share with you in case it helped.
We thank Bot Bender Orinj for what we are about to show you. They got their hands on the upcoming Scraphook and wasted no time discovering that toy's potential. Below is a video tutorial of how to turn him into a sidecar for Wreckgar along with images of either multiple Scraphooks together, or combinations with the fossilizers and even how well it works as a combiner component using a general shapeways piece that lets a combiner peg combine to a 5 mm peg. Enjoy!
There have been several reports of Walmart now liquidating their Legacy exclusives from the beginning of the year (Nightprowler, Sandstorm and Buzzsaw), now that Christmas has come and gone. It is not a country wide change in price but the $17 price has come up at several Walmarts in different states through stickers. These are the 3 Beast Wars redecos. If you held off getting these, maybe now would be a good time to get them. Who would have thought that the near mythical Nightprowler toy finally existing would have garnered such little interest.

It's news like this that shows you that production is so much further ahead of Hasbro's reveals for 2023. Of course, there's all the ROTB toys but it's happening with Legacy as well. What is funny here is that the listings never gave a proper name for the deluxe motorcycle Junkion we are getting in 2023 as part of the line's gimmick, so those getting them early on Shopee don't have the proper name for it. Hence the long winded title of this post. Also, not having proper instructions means that the reviewer botches the gimmick. Unlike previous years, the idea is not necessarily to use the Junkions as weaponisers but instead to merge them together to create different kinds of vehicles. This was shown on the poster for Legacy Evolution and it is not explored in the review even though the reviewer has 2 deluxe junkions that have that same gimmick. Instead we see it "combined" with Optimus Prime and, well, you'll see why that is not the intended function of them in this line.
The Rise of the Beasts toyline is being distributed now, with our first proof of that coming from Turkey where a small toy shop got the first wave of 3 step Smash Changer figures. We had already gotten Smash and Change Optimus Prime through the Cyberverse line and it seems Hasbro chose to release the rest of the Smash and Change figures through the ROTB mainline rather than Cyberverse. The figure we can see in the image below is 3 step Smash Changer Optimus Primal, and the photo is from that shop in Turkey.
We had seen that there are many collaborative projects coming up and now we have a rumour for the next one from JTPrime17. The next G1 Joe Transformers collaborative project is rumoured to be a Dreadnoks Soundwave that turns into the Thundermachine. This set would include an O-ring Zartan and Zarana, plus Ravage with chain. Of course, we repeat, only a rumour right now, and release plans are constantly changing.
For those unaware of what that alt mode is, it looks like the image below.
We had seen that the G1 reissue of Hound in cartoon colours was made available for fans wanting Transformers toys first (like Chefatron) through Asian retailers, so a video "review" was inevitable, and we now have one on Christmas day. While many know the classic transformation, this video will show you what the cartoon deco looks like in all angles in both modes. There are no comments, just music. While there is no chrome, the die cast has apparently not been replaced by plastic. This toy has yet to be revealed by Hasbro.
Kind of crazy how Gamestop has become the go to place for Transformers toys in Canada, both in terms of price (thanks to the Edge card) and timeliness of release. Case in point, Studio Series The Fallen. Gamestop is the first place to have this anticipated leader class figure and it has shown up in Ontario and Quebec so far. The image below is from a Montreal location.
Fellow Seibertronian Gotbot made a video and in that video he shares new listings he found. JT Prime 17 was able to cross reference some and give us more detailed listings along with just more listings in general. For the Movie/SS side of things we have the news that there will be a voyager assortment in the Rise of the Beasts mainline along with the Studio Series line. So not only will there be 2 different deluxes for the same characters, but there will be 2 different voyagers for the same characters too, like Rhinox. Also, while Cheetor will be a voyager price point in the SS line, he will be a deluxe release in the mainline. And while Optimus Primal will be a leader price point in the SS line, he will be released as a voyager in the ROTB mainline.
There was also a severe lack of Optimus Prime in the SS movie line. Well now we see that there will be a voyager Optimus in the ROTB mainline. Plus, there will be a multipack in the Buzzworthy line. For now, here is all the new info we have:

Tra TF7 Deluxe Butch (Cheetor)
Tra TF7 Core Voyager Assortment (Product Number: F5476) which includes:
