Remember the G1 Arcee toy that didn't end up getting made? Well Takara remembers and they are currently working on finally making it a reality. Takara Tomy’s TF40 Expo is on right now and the new reveals they ahve for us are in the Missing Link line. They displayed a prototype for Missing Link Sunstreaker along with a model for Missing Link Arcee. While the prototype for Sunstreaker does transform, the one on display for Arcee does not, it is something they are still working on.
Hasbro is gearing up for a special celebration of the Transformers franchise on September 17th with the launch of Transformers Day, marking the 40th anniversary of this iconic brand. As part of this celebration, Hasbro is unveiling a brand-new figure: the Studio Series Deluxe Class Bumblebee (B-127), inspired by the upcoming Transformers One animated film.
Here's the official reveal of the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Class Bumblebee (B-127) action figure. This 4.5-inch figure is a detailed representation of Bumblebee as seen in the upcoming Transformers One movie. It transforms between robot and Cybertronian car mode in 18 steps and comes with an array of accessories, including two Energon knives, two forearm blasters, and one blaster accessory. These accessories can be combined to create "knife hands," offering fans versatile display options.
Fans can pre-order the Bumblebee (B-127) figure on September 17 at 1 PM EST on Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers. The figure is priced at approximately $24.99 and will be available in Spring 2025.

Calling all completionists and Optimus Prime collectors. Takara will be releasing a brand new Optimus, with a unique mold. This one turns into a manju netsuke, which is an antique Japanese sculpture used as a button fastener. However, this one looks far more modern almost more akin to Tony Stark’s arc reactor.
It is a made to order item so it will be limited to how many are ordered by fans willing to pay 660000 Yen. It will be available to order in person at Transformers Expo 2024 in Tokyo from September 13th to September 29th, 2024.
Other unique products will also be made for this event including a collaboration for Transformers themed Llamas, pins, bags and jewelry. Check out all the images below.
The 2 pack with Optimus and Megatron called Fractured Friendship is now available on Pulse. This has Gladiator Megatron using the Siege mold (the miner variant we got last year) and Orion Pax using a retool of the the SS Gamer Edition Optimus Prime mold. Transformers One had a pretty big panel at SDCC 2024. Brian Tyree Henry, Keegan-Michael Key, Josh Cooley and Chris Hemsworth were there getting interviewed by pretty much everyone. It wasn't just Hasbro that was busy revealing stuff last week-end, Takara had their own plethora of reveals. Albeit, not all at shows. While Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong did get the reveal of an exclusive Transformers One "leader sized" Optimus Prime, the others have been found through preliminary listings online. Here's all the new stuff from Takara from the last few days:
TF One leader Optimus Prime: a Takara initiative to have the leader character get a leader sized figure. We saw it with ROTB as well with Primal, though that figure was also simplified. We do not know if that will be the case with this figure too. It will be available in the US as well through an import (as the ROTB Primal was on Pulse), and the listing for the import is below.

We got some Transformers Studio Series 86 commander class news for you. Firstly, below you will see some videos taken at SDCC 2025 featuring SS86 Optimus Prime, including the transformation.
We also have the news, from JTPrime17, that next year's commander will be a boxset including the remainder of SS86 Devastator. That would be Longhaul, Hook and combiner accessories. It means that the combiner will be finished within one year, made up of that boxset, two individually sold deluxes and two individually sold voyagers.

Big news for G1 fans, the original Optimus Prime toy is being reissued in cartoon colors as part of Walmart's exclusive G1 reissue retro line. It comes with what the original toy came with, so a trailer and roller. It was revealed in preview night at SDCC along with SS86 Optimus Prime.
