Well it's been here. I just decided to add pictures of the other stuff I happen to collect actually.

I did have a Dinobot (can't remember which one specifically) and G1 Optimus Prime when I was about 2 or 3. Then I hopped into Thundercats (which I thankfully and mostly forget) and then got into dinosaurs after a museum visit when my family went on vacation.

So, while growing up I was more focused on dinosaurs. Initially my mom got me some of the Dino-Riders toys (not realizing they were for older kids) but then switched it getting them alongside the Playskool "Definitely Dinosaurs" line in from 1987 to about 1990. I was born in 1984 actually so that's why I didn't have too many TFs while growing up at that time because they were kind of above my level.

After those collections I went to Jurassic Park and then the scale replicas from Safari Ltd. The Carnegie Collection was essentially the main thing I'd buy from every museum visit I'd go to. Eventually JP waxed and wanned and eventually I got into Star Wars collecting. I went back to Transformers during the time of Beast Wars and I got myself a Transmetal Megatron. I actually missed out on the original 96 one, but I also got a few others to boot. The Transmetal Megatron is actually still in very decent and respectable shape, some of the silver paint has flaked off in spots though. I don't transform it very often especially ever since I heard about the fragility of it about a couple years ago. It was my "go-to" Megatron. Anyways I started getting more focused in my specific collections. I usually hopped between Jurassic Park and Star Wars for a bit there. After the Transformers '07 movie it rekindled my interest in it again. I started going more into it in recent years because JP, while I still love dinosaurs, has changed from what it started out as in 1993 and in 1997. Star Wars I took a breather from because I got too carried away before going back to it to focus on my favorite faction, the Empire and Sith (I like the bad guys).

I decided with TF to take a character focus of sorts with Megatron. That has been expanding somewhat at times with me getting other characters I like the look of or they are specific staples of the faction/brand.

Awesome collection!! I also have dinosaurs in my TF room. I collect the Papo and Schleich dinosaurs.

Thanks. I don't mind Papo actually, though I am glad they're trying to have more feathered dinosaurs now. I actually like they way the feathers look on 'em to be honest. Schleich I have not collected though, most of their figures are misses with me. Some do look great however. In the past I stuck to the Jurassic Park lines, Safari Ltd, and CollectA. I did come across two of the Battat Terra Series at Target on my last run. Got the Acrocanthosaurus and Tyrannosaurus. So that's awesome. Want to try to get the Parasaurolophus personally.

I also passed on most of the Schleich dinos but the T-rex is awesome. Very nice Megatron by the way.

Yeah, the Schleich Rex was one of the ones that was a hit with me actually even though I didn't buy it. I do hear they're supposed to try feathered dinosaurs, so I will probably see what those look like. Wouldn't mind a feathered T.rex like what CollectA put out in their Deluxe line. On the Schleich and Papo Rex's I love the design though, but that's because it's stylized like the JP ones to an extent. I always loved the JP designs actually.

Sorry about that what I was meaning to say is Awesome Megatron collection. I am also a big Megatron fan. I bought the Asia exclusive voyager Megatron a while back online and was surprised how much I like it. I also dream of adding the MP to my collection soon but I have been busy with the Titans Return line. The TR Galvatron looks awesome set up with CW Cyclonus and TR Scourge on my shelf.

I figured, heh. Thank you again. I wanted an Asian exclusive voyager Megatron, but couldn't find it for a price that was decent when I was looking to buy. So I settled on the Classics one I got instead. I'm not too keen on collecting repaints, but it is one I might make an exception for if I can find it for a good deal. I favor the United version mostly more than the Henkei version though. So I think that might be why I'm having some issues with finding a decent one. I wouldn't mind getting an MP as well. I'm just kind of afraid as this thread talks about how there's a lot of KO versions of the MP mold floating around. The QA/QC is really a tossup as well. I might go with a 3rd party choice myself on this one because I like how some of them look over the MP. I can just slap a Decepticon sticker on that I have an extra of in the end.

Yeah, I grabbed TR Scourge, CW Cyclonus, and TR Galvatron in this last haul. They look really awesome together when I pose them. Would love to eventually get Unicron so I can stand them all together. I also grabbed RiD Megatronus and Beast Wars Megatron Alligator to add to my shrine. I decided to incorporate The Fallen up in the shrine as he was named Megatronus originally. I mean to be honest, I have Beast Wars/Beast Machines Megatron up there and he's an entirely different character himself. So that's why I decided to include The Fallen in it.

Hey there! I have seen pictures of it and to be honest I am looking forward to it even though it'll most likely be turned into Blitzwing before too long.

That is the first thing I thought as well but I have wanted Hasbro to do a new Voyager Class Megatron for a while now so this is great.

Going to do a picture update here after the holidays and such. Some time in January there about I am thinking. Had a lot of new acquisitions I'm happy with plus a lot of re-arranging of toys as always.

Wellp, I have finally felt my collection has ballooned by filling out enough where I can get away with making an entire shelf dedicated to TFs and working my Megatron collection into their respective collections within. That said, here's what I got going on for the moment:

I have one shelf dedicated to Megatron in the aspect of keeping variations and where certain figures won't fit in with other shelves. I'll eventually hope to incorporate other continuity Megatron's on this shelf that won't fit in with my other bits of my collection here and there. So an example would be Unicron Trilogy or things like that.

Below the top shelf I placed my Bayformers here. I took out the "Gathering at the Nemesis" Blue Soundwave and The Fallen for the moment as I really don't want to display them at the moment. That said, they're in storage. I am probably going to have to play with this one again when it comes time for TLK Megatron Voyager and Leader as the shelf is pretty full. I might have to move the chess set behind all of them to make room for more Bayformers basically.

My Generations Decepticon shelves that will also house variations of characters and might hold a few CHUG Megatron's as well, but for the moment the only Megatron that will be here is the CW Leader Megatron.

I gotta say this is my first time displaying all my Beast Wars (and related) together on one shelf. The first time I've had Maximals and Predacons side-by-side. I'm super stoked with how it turned out actually.

Lastly I created my "Children of Primus and Heralds of Unicron" shelf. It will probably be expanded to incorporate more Autobots here in the future, but the Unicron portions won't be growing much aside from troop building. Unicron is much too big to put anywhere else but this shelf. As for my Autobot side I do hope to actually get Cybertron Primus at some point and put him almost in a wrestling match with Unicron in the end.

Overall I'm pretty happy with having a themed shelf for once instead of my collection scattered about between. It matches my Star Wars - Imperials base diorama shelf in the sense of just being one continuous theme. I moved my Jurassic Park/World stuff around, more in the living room and where I had my Megatron shrine is now a Jurassic Park/World shelf. I'll get some pictures of these in the future at some point. I just wanted to showcase how my TF collection is growing substantially from its humble beginnings.

Had a bit of a mishap with Voyager RotF Starscream today, gonna have to put him up until I can get a replacement for him or if even I can. Thankfully I got my DotM Starscream to fill in for him in any case for diorama shots or whatever if I need to. I only got the RotF Voyager because of the scale of the DotM one actually, but I am less picky on scale as time has gone on and have accepted the quirk of everything not measuring up like it should. That said, I'm a little bit disappointed in the durability, but it was always a bit too flimsy anyways. I suspected it was either KO (produced after the production run) or something that didn't even pass the QA testing phase.

Did some re-arranging as of late, sort of prep for my TLK Leader Megatron for whenever I get him and just some desire to organize what I have more by faction or so.

Much happier with how the shelf looks now. Much better, much more organized. Though I am seeing where I need room for stuff I want to get. Left a blank spot on my Bayformers Decepticon shelf for when I get TLK Leader Megatron. Hopefully I can do that for my birthday or sooner. Have a few adult stuff coming up I have to do.

Is Unicron on his knees? How else is he fitting in that shelf?

and frankly I still am with certain things like Jurassic Park/Jurassic World and maybe my Imperials with Star Wars even though I do a lot of army/troop building there. I've been selective about stuff since my space is limited though. I did want and still want some mainstays though. Like I know I have yet to ever own a Bumblebee in my collection. So I am thinking of grabbing the TR Legends one next time I get a chance for reasons.

Been kind of in a hectic little three-four weeks or so for me. I started volunteering at the Mental Health board for NAMI for a couple hours a week and have been pretty busy getting the class booklets that NAMI offers together. It's been good to get out of the house and has been helpful to my mood. I seem to be doing much better. Outside of this I'm working and focusing on Jurassic-Pedia as the Fallen Kingdom toys are due out less than a month and I've been converting space for them in my living room to be ready to go when they hit the street date next month in April. The fifth film itself will be out in June so the viral marketing is releasing currently and I've been updating Pedia with stuff from it as well as trying to fill out the remaining content from the JPLegacy days.

I do have a few final TF acquisitions in the last few months though before I have to focus on my Jurassic Park/World collecting. I managed to secure an MP-36 Megatron (KO version) and TLK Leader Megatron. Did some creative arranging for my Transformers shelf. I also have been picking up Star Wars figures, mostly droids and personnel. I'll show that at a later date when there's been significant change there. With the exception of acquiring TR Trypticon I am putting my TF collecting on the back burner for now. I'll probably grab things like additional Megatron figures released. Case in point? Studio Series RotF Megatron! Without further adieu though:
