Got an updated photo of how my

team is situated. since it has been a while since I last posted anything in this thread. I am going to do more thorough pics of my TFs when I do some of the needed workshop fixes for my TLK Leader Megatron and TFP Voyager Megatron. There was a slight mishap with the both of those, and it was totally my fault in any case. So my plan is to fix them (or replace them), and then do the full picture set then. For now though, I give you my top shelf with my Decepticon unit claiming ownership of it.

Been slowly adding more Megatron's to my collection, even though my focus is still on the Jurassic World toys that Mattel is purchasing things are a bit slow there due to COVID so it's giving me time to go back and pick up things I had to temporarily pass on. Also, a while back my MP-36 (KO) Megatron took a tumble and broke a leg/pistol grip and hip guard. I have since replaced this. So I'm pleased to say I have a mint one in my collection again. I also recently acquired Studio Series RotF Soundwave, but I forgot to take a picture of him. Wasn't really impressed too much with it because of how simple the figure is to transform, but hey it's fine because it is Soundwave. I am going to place a pre-order for WFC Kingdom Beast Megatron of course, but I'm also going to go for Cyclonus, Scourge, and Paleotrex as well with that too. I'm also intending to pick up the remaining minions for Soundwave as well. I would like to purchase WFC Earthrise Starscream and WFC Earthrise Seeker 2-pack with Thundercracker and Skywarp exclusive to Target. Unfortunately, I've not been able to track the 2-pack down for a decent price. I passed on it when I was in the store doing a run for JW toys (and got quite a few of them) and I really wish I wouldn't have now in hindsight since I've been incapable of hunting it down for the retail price.

I managed to pick up a few Transformers figures lately, despite everything with collecting the Predator figures as well. I got a R.E.D Series Megatron which I wish there were more options for interchangeable hands and the ability to remove his fusion cannon from his arm. It's not a bad figure, I do enjoy having a poseable show-accurate G1 Megatron even though I have an MP-36 Megatron in my collection already. So it is a lukewarm reception from me for it even though I am happy to accept it in my collection. The other arrival finally showed up today and that was the Generations Selects TTGS09 or Super Megatron. I missed the first window for him, but I managed to get in on the most recent window here in order to secure him. He arrived today and I gotta say I love what I see. In my mind, this is the Megatron you basically get when you give him the Matrix of Leadership. I know the Battlestars story though, but in my headcanon, I am going the Matrix of Leadership route with it because I enjoy the idea of this being what happens to him once he accepts it like Orion Pax to Optimus Prime or Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime.

After this picture, I figured out how to switch his heads around actually, so now he has the red little jewel or whatever in place of the decal there. Really happy with this figure so he is Megatron Prime in my eyes. XD

Bit of an update, without pics for the moment. I ended up getting quite a bunch of new figures this year: Generation Selects Shattered Glass Megatron, Kingdom Galvatron, and Beast Megatron. Also snagged Paleotrex, Kingdom Dinobot, managed to get a WFC Siege Thundercracker for free too. The big thing for Christmas I got was the Jurassic Park set with Tyrannocon Rex and JP93. Really enjoy that one and honestly love having TFs that can sit out in my Jurassic Park/World collection.

I picked up Kingdom Cyclonus, Kingdom Shadow Panther, Kingdom Waspinator, and Studio Series 86 Starscream. Promptly gave Megatron (or one of many) the throne. Now I need a good-sized Decepticon Skywarp. With Jurassic World Dominion done and the series' slowing down I am starting to resume some of my Decepticon building and get some of the pieces, I wanted over the last couple of years. I am also going to be moving to a new place here in October so I hope for more of a chance to collect more and display more as well, but we'll see. My girlfriend is very supportive of my Decepticon hoarding and she is showing interest in Transformers with the more fiction I show her from around the various continuities.

Amazingly, something was found yesterday that I once believed was lost entirely to me through the half a million moves I have had to make and surviving apocalypses one after another. Ironically it has helped me recover some memories I had personally forgotten from the time I received it. What strange artifact am I mentioning? My dad found my original G1 Optimus Prime toy, a little worse for wear, and returned it to me. It's missing one of his smokestacks, his fists, his gun, and trailer accessories along with probably half a dozen other things obviously but I am glad for it to be reunited with me.

So, I was about 2 or 3 when I got him at the time and I remember watching it and Gobots. I did want Megatron back then, but my mom ended up getting me Cy-kill from Gobots to be the bad guy instead due to an aversion to giving a 2 to 3-year-old a toy that transformed into a gun. I do wonder if my Cy-Kill figure is somewhere in a box at my dad's like this Optimus Prime was. It would be cool to find him again after all this time. So I would like to fix up my Optimus Prime figure, I was looking at Shapeways for a pair of fists and his ion blaster. I might check repro-labels for stickers to redo his Autobot emblems for his arms. If anyone has any recommendations - please let me know here and include a link for them too if you don't mind. I'm just happy he's back in my collection after all this time after about 40 years.

That is truly amazing and great news. I am fortunate to haev al my childhood Transformers to include OP.

Upfront, i would definitely buy a sticker set from Toyhax. For the most part that is easy.

I honestly never heard of Shapeways but that could be an option for the fist. hey seem so expensive for at least one on some sites. Now the blaster you might find a good deal on eBay. That just depends if you want the bloated rifle versus the standard (thinner) one. From what i can see, your version of OP has the rub sign so most of them had the standard blaster.

With the rest, are you wanting to find a trailer for him? You can find a trailer for a decent price, however, depends on how picky you are. Most that are listed on eBay, as an example, do not come with the rear door. Which that seems to be pricey depending if it is for the early version or later.

Hopefully in time you can get your OP to how you want him to look for displaying.

So I am leaning towards those and the repro-labels when I get some money from ToyHax. I don't know if I want to restore the trailer and all of his accessories there because it could be too costly right now. I may likely do it later when I get some additional income though. For now, I'd like to just give him new decals, his fists, and his gun.

Hopefully, once we get a house I can fully display everything and work on the restoration of my G1 Optimus Prime.

Looking good and very nice of her to get that shelf for you. Everything looks great on each shelf. Hopefully your collection wont stay boxed up that long. I know how that is for sure. A good thing though, it will be great to unbox and set up all your stuff again.
