It's the blue. If they had done that as a dark red or black, I think it would be worked a bit better. I'm not too put off by it though. Still totally getting him.

This is definitely a Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen mold of some type...if it already wasn't, I'm sure it will be in the future.

It's supposed to look like Michael Knight so the blue represents his jeans. It should be a little darker, but that's what they were going for.

And yes, he has lights AND sounds as shown on the front of the box.

Looking at the recent pics he's gonna be voyager size! Uhh ... kinda wish they just kept him deluxe and ditched the lights and sounds. But maybe they're worth it because without them he looks too much like a regular car? I dunno. I kinda hate too large TF cars.

Lights and sounds are great. They are the main feature of Knight Rider. Any child of the 80’s that watched this show every week, will love the fact it lights the scanner, goes wooo-wooo and maybe says “Hello Michael”.

That’s totally the best part of this toy.

The large chin under the front of the car is a bit awkward and off putting, and yes, the blue should have been a bit darker.

I’m starting warm up to him, so I can justify $50 bucks, because I totally want a Knight Rider TF.

The remaining question is… can he fit in a prime trailer?
Yes he’s fairly large. Not sure Voyager sized, but larger than a standard Deluxe car.

Also, anybody know what the offset panel on the hood is for?

Also, is it wrong that now I want a Peter Cullen voiced K.A.R.R? They can call him Agent Garth.

That said, I had to order it because it's Knight Rider!
Though I'm not a fan of eh blue jeans, it does throw the look off a bit.

I have ne interest in in a CARR repaint, but I might be swayed at a Prime repaint for the FLAG Semi.

I bet it will be closer to a voyager like Ectotron in size, especially due to the lights and sounds. Add the DOUBLE licence to round things up.

I've never had an MP but I did have several Alternators. Which feel a bit large and definitely out of scale to ER through Legacy. I wound up selling most of them off except a couple cool looking ones.

I miss Alternators. That was an amazing, different line. Except for the Optimus...it kinda sucked.

Maybe. I think Ectrotron may be a tad too small. But we'll see.

Might be, but the in-hand images with comparisons will be the final judge.
Regardless, this make the 70$can price tag reasonable. It will almost be leader sized, with lights and sounds.
I'm glad that it is not a Toys R Us exclusive over here because they'd sell the damn thing at 95$can fos sure. That is, based on what they asked for Afterlife Ectotron some years back.

Man, the scale arguments are tough. I always thought Ectotron scaled pretty well with deluxes, but I guess he's a touch too large.

I think the only crossover that fits is Venom from the old Marvel Crossover line. Maybe?

I do love the fact that Gigawatt is part of the WFC Sideswipe family, but indeed, he should be bigger to fit with the other X-Overs.

I think y'all are losing it. Knight Rider is the one out of scale with the rest.

Ectotron is a great voyager and scales nicely.

Gigawatt was done correctly as a deluxe.

If anything, Knight should have been deluxe. But I prefer that they went for a different scale to get the lights and sounds in there.

I think it would have been possible to put all the lights and sounds in a Deluxe Knight Rider.
But it may have resulted in a more expensive bot, ironically.
