Could be, but could also be your Bulkhead repaint/retool if they base him on the Transformers Universe game version, he'd technically still be Prime universe, too.

And if onyx Prime would be a centaur or not

I'm hoping not, but only because I want him to be a pre-tool for Prime Predaking.

And im wondering if Alpha Trion would be off of the Scourge mold like before or off of the thundertron mold or something

It's not a package refresh so it's probably not based on Scourge. Kinda expecting him to be a Thundertron repaint, even if that makes more sense for that mold to be Alpha Trizer.

Even though it says Cybertron-themed capsule, I wonder if this will be Armada Sideways.

Excellion and Skywarp are both obvious repaints/remolds, but Cybertron Sideways doesn't have a clear repaint source that I can think of (unless he's based on one of the other toys from this line).

On the other hand, Armada Sideways could be a remold of the Prowl/Chromia mold

Interesting. Given that, I'm guessing he'll be a remold of the Studio Series Scourge/Legacy Senator Ratbat mold, but he could also end up being based on a new mold from the Age of the Primes line.

Studio Series 86 Scourge is a Voyager, not a Deluxe. I can't really see which Deluxe can be used for him tho...

Studio Series 86 Scourge is a Voyager, not a Deluxe. I can't really see which Deluxe can be used for him tho...

Maybe he'll be like how Velocitron Override and Cosmos were and be a surprise new mold.

Personally expecting him to be a heavily retooled United Windblade.

We'll probably also see Deluxe First Aid from Cannonball here as one of the Deluxe mystery figures.

I would not complain if we got a heavily retooled (mostly just a reshell with a BFG) of Earthrise Arcee as Thunderblast.

That Leader really needs to be Galaxy Force Optimus Prime (Siege Galaxy Upgrade Prime in black and red).

I know Skywarp is going to be a United Starscream repaint, but I would love to see the Earthrise Seeker mold in bright purple and white (and gray and blue Thundercracker colors).

Is it known if G2 Grimlock is a re-release of the yellow version that was exclusive to Walmart? I'm assuming it's not, but with so many re-releases (including a few which were originally exclusives), I wouldn't be shocked if it is.

That's what I'm hoping for. Although that figure isn't on my "Want" list, if it's a blue or dark teal version, it will be very tempting.
Especially thinking that G2 versions for the others would then be more likely, and the only re-use of those molds that is realistic.

I've seen some people speculating that maybe Solus Prime will in some way be a Sideways pretool, since no other mold we currently have would really work without heavy retooling, she's early enough in the year that her mold should be available, and Solus is arguably the most blank-slate of the Primes we're confirmed getting in Deluxe class design-wise.

As an additional reminder, there's a non-zero chance that this wave also contains Deluxe Swindle, the update we got with the Vortex listing was that Swindle got pushed "to a later wave" but no clarification was given as to if that meant Wave 3 or a 2026 wave.

The original leak that confirmed all the exclusives specified "centaur form Onyx Prime", no confirmation currently if that means he only has a centaur form or if he can switch between four and two legs in some way.

Considering RB Heatwave and SG Heatwave share no design features other than "is a variety of truck" and "has a visor (sometimes)", and factoring in the current pattern of "Combiner torso = Commander Class", I could not doubt this more. If we are indeed going Fun Pub for Nexus then his torso's definitely gonna be a retool of the all-but-assured future Onslaught.

I could also see the leader being Megatron given that we have an Armada and Energon Megatron in Legacy but no Cybertron/Galaxy Force Megatron. A retool of Studio Series leader class Springer could work pretty well.

Pass for me on Star Convoy, since I never cared to pick up the previous release.

My bigger question is the Retro Inspired Brawn and Seaspray.... unless they're giving Brawn a toy head and claw hands, I can't imagine how else they'd make him more retro than his SS release. And if we get another minibot/Seaspray that's exclusive to Walmart which is also short packed.... No one needs the Cosmos fiasco redone.
