The blockbuster OBLIVION SONG team of ROBERT KIRKMAN & LORENZO DE FELICI debut the biggest new comic book series of 2023 with the launch of AN ALL-NEW SHARED UNIVERSE and a SURPRISE you won't see coming!
War rages around the Sacred Ring where the last remnants of two worlds have collapsed around a black hole in a never-ending war.
However when pilot Darak and his rival Solila both crash on a desolate planet these two enemies must find a way to escape together. But are they alone on this strange planet? And what dark forces await that threaten the entire universe?

Then a minute later, Image's history makes me assume this reboot is going to make us all appreciate just how good IDW was in hindsight, Revolution included.
And just next week? Were there any specific whispers of this earlier?

Presumably so, but since it's a brand new thing that doesn't even release until Wednesday, no one knows so yet.Stormshot_Prime wrote:I’m a bit confused as to the where and how anything TF/Joe fits into this story we’re being presented. Is this story itself setting up a bunch of other titles, including TF?

It's Robert Kirkman and Image Comics.
Kirkman is one of the biggest names to hit pop-culture in the past 20 years. Having read Kirkman's entire Walking Dead series thanks to originally liking the TV show when it first came out, then giving the original comics a try, and then getting pissed off at the TV show, and became a bigger fan of the comic than I was the TV show in the end. Kirkman is really good at world building, regardless if you like Walking Dead or not.
Image Comics is, well, Image Comics and #3 in the industry. Just leaves Dark Horse and DC of the big 5 to have a go at Transformers.

Humanity’s only hope of Survival is Optimus Prime
Instead, the fate of Cybertron is unknown, and his allies have crash-landed far from home, alongside their enemies—the Decepticons. As these titanic forces renew their war on Earth, one thing is immediately clear: the planet will never be the same.
